EATING SCHEDULE – AN IMPORTANT THING THAT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED
It’s hard to keep an eating schedule when your everyday schedule is so messed up! We know (fully well) how quarantine changes our life, but we should never ?????? let it control ourself The very first thing we can do is to have a schedule for ourself – the time to take care of ourself!! Here are the 5?? reasons why you should keep a fixed eating schedule:
? You will less likely be too hungry/too full. Since you’re eating on a schedule, there’s no longer skipping or binge eating pattern! You’re now (referring back to our previous post ) control avoiding getting yourself in a situation where you skip a meal and binge a lot of snacks before next meal time. And we all know that you’ll feel very guilty afterwards, and the cycle continues
? You will be more intuitive about your eating – No more misleading “eating” cues. Yes, you hear us correctly. You are no longer tricked by the fast food commercial played in the middle of the night, since you’re already satisfied with your dinner. And again, it’s time for you to practice rating your hunger If you ate (and was satisfied with the meal) about an hour ago, and now you’re already hungry, it’s likely that you’re not truly hungry ????
? You can actually have health benefits regarding digestion and weight loss. The mechanism is really simple. You keep your digestive system working, but you never overwork it That’s how eating on a schedule can actually help with your metabolism as a whole ??
? You can plan ahead with a fixed schedule. We’ve been repeating the phrase – to plan ahead!! And eating on a schedule makes meal planning much easier since you know the pattern and what is required for the meals
? You have a sense of control over your life. Yes, you can start with this small step, instead of leaving it to whatever nature decides. Having a fixed meal schedule will also “force” you to have a fixed working and relaxing schedule – just like when you’re out of quarantine
